JT's Custom Paint Garage is dedicated to building the highest quality custom productions.

The shop was founded in 1999 by Jason T. Baran of Moravia, NY. Since it's opening, the facility has more than doubled in size and has greatly grown in notariety and popularity, now adding our airbrush specialist Donny and our body specialist Justin.

With the shop's respected reputation for meticulous attention to detail, JT's Custom Paint Garage has quickly become an authority for custom paint and airbrushing in Upstate New York and throughout the East Coast.

Our paintwork has received much acclaim and exposure; but rather than talk and hype, we like to let the end-product speak for itself.

What do you paint?
Our normal range of work consists of motorcycles, cars, trucks,and helmets, but we have also painted golf carts, snowmobiles, musical instruments, mailboxes, bowling pins and more.  We also now offer murals for home or office, and airbrushing on shirts and leathers. 

 

How much does it cost?
All projects leave the shop with a show quality finish including meticulous wetsand, buff and detail, so while you may be able to get it done cheaper elsewhere, you are unlikely to find the same quality finish out of many other shops.

Our shop labor rate is $60/hour plus materials. If you have an idea what you are looking for, we can draw up an estimate for you.  Please be advised that materials costs have increased greatly in the last few years due to oil prices. 

Typically we can pin down an exact price on motorcycles, where a three-piece set of clean tins custom painted will usually start around $1,200.  Detailed mural work or projects with more custom fabrication or body work are charged hourly, but we can give you a rough idea of cost.  Contact Jason directly at the shop for the most accurate estimate information.

 

 

When can I get my project in for work?
If you are looking for straight custom paint and airbrush work, we can generally take that at any time.  Bikes stand a better chance of getting in and out, while vehicles usually need to be scheduled in advance. Late winter and early spring are our busiest times, while fall is typically slowest. Plan ahead if you are looking to have your vehicle or bike ready for spring.

 

What are your hours?
Regular hours are Monday-Friday 9-5, evenings and Saturdays by appointment. No matter what time, it is always better to call before coming out.  Please allow Sundays to be our "day of rest." We certainly need it.


What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check or credit card.  Our in-house credit card processing is verified secure through TrustKeeper, and we wan also bill via PayPal if you prefer.

Where exactly is Moravia?
Located in the middle of nowhere, yet at the heart of everything, JT's Custom Paint Garage is easy to find from the NYS Thruway and Route 81.  If you are looking for a nice cruise, you can see the hills between Skaneateles, Owasco, Cayuga and Seneca Lakes from the shop on a clear day.
